Sometimes life just gets way too busy and throw in a few health issues and that has me missing for quite some time. I hope to be back on a more regular basis and try to catch you all up on my stamping, scrapping and general fun stuff.
I have been working hard on making pocket posties that I will be getting signed and they will get sent to Afghanistan for the troops. This campaign is even more special because the troops going over on the next tour are right here in Manitoba, Shilo to be exact. I know for certain our last two campaigns have been received by the troops because we received a wonderful photo of one of the company with the pocket posties in their hands. What a wonderful surprise that was.
I also adopted some soldiers over Christmas and sent cards and packages to them. I was so honored to receive a email back from one of them thanking me for thinking of him. I was so happy that the packages were received and that he was happy with them.
We are so very lucky to have these men and women care enough to stand up for their country. They are true HEROES.
I have to skip away here for a few hours but I will be back to update you all some more.
