Holy Smollies is it cold out today!!!

I just about froze my butt off just running into work..lol. I had a slow morning, thank goodness my friend Mina comes in to workout because she gets me moving every morning that she shows up and that is almost every morning. I enjoy chatting with her as we do the circuit. I sure hope someone buys the place as it is for sale and that the buyer is from Russell so we can keep it in town and possibly I will get to keep my job. Not much else to work at in Russell so I must be on the lookout.
Yesterday was so cold that when Dennis decided to go to Yorkton, I stayed home and did some scrapbooking. I accomplished three pages so not bad.
The first one is of my sister Janice and I. Janice passed away two years ago with small cell lung cancer that quickly spread throughout her body. She was my oldest sister and the one I was the closest to. I sure do miss her.

The second layout is of Whitefish Lake, this is where my Mother spends her summers volunteering as a campground host. She loves it up there and it is a beautiful lake. There is no electricity, you just hear and see the sights and sounds of the wilderness. The last layout is a Christmas one from 1955. I was 5 years old and it was the last Christmas my Daddy was alive. He was killed on the family farm from a tractor roll over. There are 5 of us kids in the photo, I think Mom had just had Sherry a couple weeks before as she was born Dec. 17/55. Come to think of it I will have to change my journalling on this page because I had stated that Mom was pregnant but she could not have been when this was taken as our Christmas tree did not go up much before the 24th of Dec. Dadddy was killed on July 16, 1956.
