It is officially FALL!

I must apologize for being missing for a few days again but I have been sick with this abdominal pain and I have made more trips to the doctor this last week than I have in the last year. These new meds seem to be helping a little so here is hoping.

A couple weeks ago I went on a drive to look at the fall colors and test out my new camera and I am enclosing some of those shots.

It is so nice to see so many colors and to be able to enjoy them.

What other way can you tell it is fall, by all the bales that are in the fields. Love this shot.

While on my drive I heard the flocks of geese overhead, sometimes the sky was black with the huge numbers of them.

It is hard to see the geese in this smaller version but there are two flocks of them in the sky.

I really enjoyed my afternoon and my camera.

Since I was sick I also did a bit of scrapbooking........

This is a layout of my girlfriends and I while in Las Vegas - August 2007.

We celebrated my birthday shopping and then going out for a nice dinner. The waiters even sang Happy Birthday to me...lol.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Top of the World restaurant at the Stratosphere. 107 floors off the ground. This is a revolving restaurant and did one complete turn every hour. The S on Stratosphere does not show up well so I must fix that.

We got to enjoy the view of the Las Vegas Strip from 108 floors above the ground. Awesome!

Sleepy Sandi, after telling us all evening that she was going to stay up and watch some real TV, she only lasted a couple of minutes before she was sound asleep.

Today I went and helped the RCMP and Ambulance personnel do a bike rodeo at Major Pratt School. It was for the kids Grades K - 3. I helped with the kindergarten kids and did a teddy bear picnic. We bandaged bears, monkeys, cows, rabbits, snakes, penguins, puppies and Tigger (all stuffed, no live ones thank you). We all had a lot of fun. The weather was nice except for the wind.

Now I must go rest as I am tired out..Have a good weekend everyone!
