Jordan went snowboarding!

Today Dennis and I treated Jordan to a snowboard lesson and a day of snowboarding.

He was a bit timid when he was first outfitted but soon learned what a lot of fun he could have. He had a young gal named Nicole teach him 1 on 1.

Off they go to the bunny hill. Jordan had a one hour lesson and then practised for an hour and then it was off to the lifts and the big hills. He looked like a pro, I was so proud of him, he did awesome. We arrived at Asessippi Ski Hill at 12:30pm, he had a lesson from 1-2pm and he did not leave the hill till 8pm. He had a blast.

He is our pro on the big hill, doesn't he look sharp. He forgot his ski pants at home so Aunt Judy hemmed up a pair of hers and gave him her mitts and away he went.

He was so excited that as soon as we got home he had to phone Grandpa and GeeGee (my Mom) to tell them all about it. I was happy he had a good time.

I was so sick with this cold that the last place I wanted to be was the ski hill but I had promised him I would take him Thursday and he has been so good for me and such a help that I had to keep my promise. I read and watched him from inside the sugar shacks. We had packed a lunch and he had prepared some salads so it was a joint effort and we both came home happy so it was a good day, well until I got home and received a call from my boss. She told me she was selling her business so who knows how long I will have my job.....I took tomorrow morning off to sleep in and try to fight this cold.
