Tonight is the big night of the year, last one. It will be a quiet night in our house as there will only be Dennis, Jordan and I. I have ribs cooking in the slow cooker and rice to make but we decided we will get dressed up and celebrate anyways. After supper we will have time for a bit of a rest then we will play some board games with Jordan and watch a movie "The Dark Knight" (I got it for Christmas) and we will be lucky if Dennis makes it until midnight as he was up all night on call at the hospital. He got called in a 3am for a cardiac workup. I told Jordan we would make some popcorn, etc later to bring in the new year.
I have been busy all afternoon making pocket posties to sign for our troops. You can see the interview at http://www.winnipeg.ctv.ca/ and click on the video or the posties link below it.
I need to get some of my photos uploaded so I can share a few.
My family and I wish you a happy, healthy New Year and ask that you all celebrate safely tonight. If you are drinking, please don't drive. Have a designated driver available or call a taxi or Operation Rednose.
