Time is just whipping by...

It seems like the time is just flying by and I can't keep up. The Relay for Life was awesome, I was not on a team so walked on my own and I walked 9 of the 12 hours. At about 2am I came home to change (I was so sweaty and freezing cold from the wind. It was -9C that night) and I slept for 2 hours and then went back to finish the final two hours. Our little town has 1500 people and with the surrounding area we raised $55,000.00. How awesome is that. There was great entertainment all night long. I did alot of remembering of my sister and her fight, my little chemo buddy who also lost his fight last summer and I prayed for my new chemo buddy that she continues to do so well. She is a real warrior and I know she will beat this.

After a terrific pancake breakfast I went to help our Hospital Auxiliary with their garage sale/bake sale. It was very well attended and I think we probably raised a good sum of money there too. We use this money to purchase equipment for the hospital, personal care home and ambulance. I can tell you that when it ended at noon I wasted no time getting home (I even had a buffalo burger at the sale before going home) and I crawled directly into bed and slept the afternoon away.

Sunday I got spoiled as Dennis bought me flowers, Chad & Kristina got me flowers and a basket of candles, soaps, etc; Ryan got me a GPS unit for the car and Scott told me he cooked the brunch at the Inn where they took me for Mother's Day. I tell him he is just a cheapskate and doesn't want to spend his money.

I spent the rest of the day scrapbooking and resting while the guys went golfing.

Monday I worked at a blood donor clinic, they still don't want my blood because I have a pacemaker. I think that is discrimatory....

Today I had a meeting about Hike for Hospice at the end of May where we will walk to raise funds for the palliative care. It is only 5km and I am working registration and then will walk with the kids. I am making all 200 name tags and have half of them done already.

Tomorrow is a free day so I will definitely have to houseclean. I did get my laundry done today too.

Thursday I do palliative care for a couple hours in the afternoon.

Saturday we have Wes and Amber's shower and social to go to so that will be fun.

One day I wil find a few minutes to include some photos I promise.

Have a good night all. This chick is going to bed and hopefully will get more of my book read.

Judy :o)
