Happy RED Day!!!

I hope everyone remembered to wear RED in support of our troops, I did!

We have had another beautiful day with a little wind but still a nice day. I had lunch with a friend of mine today who just got home from her sister's funeral last week. It was nice to spend some time with her. We always like to talk about Dancing with the Stars and while she was away I taped them for her so she was very happy about that. I also watched So You Think You Can Dance and that is why I forgot to update my blog. I am so bad at remembering to do that everyday but most times there is not that much exciting that has happened to update about so I guess it is not a big deal if I miss.

While in Yorkton yesterday I found the perfect album kit by Colorbok to do for my Aunt's 80th birthday so I am going to work on that this weekend. I love doing these kits as everything is included and already cut for me so I just need to follow the plan and put it together, nice and quick. When I get it completed I will upload it.

I am including a few photos from our Relay for Life. This first one is of all the survivors, I am in the seond row, 4th from the left.

This is my sister's luminary before it was lit and then after it was lit.

This luminary is in honor of my chemo buddy and the fantastic fight she is giving breast cancer. Way to go Maria, I am so proud of you!

This luminary is in memory of my little chemo buddy who lost his fight to cancer August 25, 2007. He was the bravest of the brave for a 7 year old.

I miss you little buddy.

I helped the volunteers light all these luminaries this year and what a big job it was but a reward when they were all lit, just beautiful and so moving. I personally thank all those that organized the Relay for Life, in the nine hours that I chose to walk, it was some of the most moving moments I have had.
