The Weekend to End Breast Cancer Fundraiser!

I received my package for the Weekend to End Breast Cancer Walk. This June 7-9, 2007 I will be participating in this 60km walk again, I took part last year and walked the whole 60km over two days. It is a grueling walk but such a worthwhile and inspiring walk. I have to raise a minimum of $2,000.00 to participate (last year I raised just over $4,000.00) so I will be beginning my fundraising efforts soon, so far I have $300.00 raised. If you are so inclined to support me, you can mail a donation to me ot go directly to my webpage at www.endcancer.ca and type in my name to make a donation.

This is our team, Support The Girls, I am in the front row on the right with the pink cap.

This was at the closing ceremonies and other than some very sore feet and being dead tired, it was one of the most amazing things I have ever done in my life.

A friend of mine is a breast cancer survivor, I am a colon cancer survivor and I lost my sister to small cell lung cancer that spread quickly and she passed away within 14 months of being diagnosed. I feel if we find a cure for one cancer, we will surely find a cure for them all, this gives me reason enough to be a part of something so amazing.
