This cold has knocked me down again!

I was MIA yesterday due to this cold again, this winter is going to be one of these continual colds I think. I rested alot yesterday. Dennis took Jordan to meet his Grandpa and I sure do miss him. I enjoy having him visit.

Today I could not lie down for long because my sinuses would get so full and tight that I would have to sit up so they could drain so I decided I would scrapbook a few pages. I completed a 2 page layout for Christmas 2006 and also a 2 page layout of Jordan's snowboard adventure. They turned out pretty good I think.

Christmas was so much fun this year having all three boys home as well as having Jordan here to celebrate with us. Please excuse the background as I just took a digital photo of the pages and of course my pillow is in the background.

My second 2 page layout is of Jordan's snowboard lesson and day at the ski hill. This was his first time on a snowboard and he did awesome. He had an hour lesson and then practised for about an hour and then off to the lifts he went and down the bigger hills. He even tried some jumps. He was so happy that he was on the hills from 1pm - 8pm only stopping for a 1/2 hour for supper and a few sips of water. I was so proud of him and happy that he was having such a good time. He had forgotten his ski pants and mitts at Grandpas so I gave him a pair of my ski pants and wehemmed them up to fit him and he was thrilled that they worked. My mitts also fit him. He is such a good kid. When we got back home he thanked Uncle Dennis for paying for this snowboarding day and gave him a huge hug and he stated "I didn't waste any of your money Uncle, I snowboarded for 7 hours." Dennis just laughed and told him he was happy that he had so much fun. We talked lots about his Grandma (my sister Janice) and his memories of her. He said you know Auntie, Grandma is not really dead because as long as she lives on in my heart, she is alive. I explained that yes Jordan she is dead but her memory will live forever in our hearts as long as we remember. He thinks of her everyday and misses her terribly. She would be so proud of him and the polite kid he is. He stayed two weeks with us and every meal I made him, he would tell me how good it was and thank me, pretty amazing for an 11 year old. I love him to pieces.
Well I must go to work tomorrow so I am off to bed and will pray I have a good night!
Catch you all tomorrow....
