Happy New Year!!

We spent New Years Eve with Chad and Kristina in Portage la Prairie, MB. Saturday evening there was a big snow storm in southern Manitoba and we got dumped with a foot of snow so Sunday morning we had to wait for the roads to be plowed to be able to go pick Mom up at the airport. There was only one lane all the way to Winnipeg and the streets in Winnipeg were worse with over a foot of snow on them. We were an hour late picking Mom up but we got her ok and shopped a little and then headed back to Portage. Jordan had stayed at Chad and Kristina's. They had both worked nights so were having a sleep and Jordan wanted to play Chad's video games. We arrived back in Portage around 4pm.

Chad and Kristina made us a lovely supper "chicken alfredo fettucine", it was very good. We watched to ball drop in New York but Mom and Chad did not last till midnight but therest of us did and we woke Mom up but no way could we get Chad up.
