Time is flying by....

Oh my goodness, time is flying by and it has been a few days since I was here. The weather is a bit better, a little cold but the snow has stopped so that is good as I am tired of shoveling. I have not gotten too much done stamping as our new kitchen floor is getting put in and the men have occupied the kitchen for the last couple days. By the end of today we should have our new floor, I am so excited. I will take a photo when it is done.

Not too long ago I made this birthday card. It is a buckle card and I used the SU Eat Cake set. I did a technique on the cake part called faux shaving cream, very easy and fun to do.

This next card is actually a quote card and I used the SU set Looks Like Spring and Touch of nature. On each of the pieces of cardstock I used a quote from the Sage Advice set that was in the Summer 2005 mini. It makes a beautiful wee gift. When it was completed I tied it with a piece of wide organdy ribbon.

This next card is one of my favorites. I used the Lovely As A Tree SU set and the brown detailed embossing powder. On the background I used the canvas background stamp. A few of these stamp sets are retired but it will give you an idea.

All cards are copyright SU products and the ideas are for your personal use only.
